Got ear pain? You’re at the right place!
We know earaches are no fun. They can hurt a lot.
Here, we share 10 steps to help make your ear feel better.
Important: Always talk to a grown-up or a doctor for bad pains!
1. Warm Compress
Put a warm washcloth on your ear for 10-15 minutes.
This can help reduce pain and feel very soothing.
2. Elevate Your Head
When you lie down, prop your head up with a pillow.
This will help keep pressure off your ear.
3. Over-the-Counter Pain Relievers
Medicines like ibuprofen can lessen ear pain.
Always ask your parents before taking any medicine.
4. Hydration
Drink plenty of fluids like water or juice.
Swallowing can help open up your ear tubes.
5. Chew Gum
Chewing gum can help if the ache is from flying or altitude changes.
It helps equalize the pressure in your ears.
6. Herbal Ear Drops
Make drops from olive oil and garlic or buy them at the store.
Put a few drops in your ear to help relieve pain.
7. Warm Olive Oil
